CANCELLED due to effects of Hurricane Helene.
Sale goes ‘live’ the weekend of (what would have been) our open-house sales event.
Due to the widespread damage in our region due to Hurricane Helene, our Fall shows were cancelled. We are ‘pivoting’ to bring a beautiful online sale instead.
If you wonder how you can help Michael and I recover from the impacts of Hurricane Helene, purchasing our pottery is a great way! Also, we are accepting donations at our online SHOP pages. Look for ‘Gift Money’ (with the blue ribbon icon).
Thank you for loving our pottery!
We’re bringing our newest pottery to this show at a fabulous venue on the grounds of the Mint Museum (Randolph) in Charlotte. Don’t miss this one day show featuring nearly 60 potters under one big tent!
Demo and sale featuring Ruth’s pottery with unique sgraffitto (etching) surface designs. ‘Prayer Orbs’ and other items will be available for sale … location: Southern Highland Craft Guild Folk Art Center, Asheville, NC. … Good time to see how I do what I do. These items are available directly from me only. Great chance to see a nice selection and add to your collection!
Probably the best studio tour in the country! Come see what we make and the studio we make it in. Come see us, and take home the art that you love! We’ll be here 10-5 Fri, Sat, Sun. Please check the Toe River Arts Studio Tour website for maps and ‘artist party’ info. (We are Studio #50)
Visit the Focus Gallery Exhibit at the Southern Highland Craft Guild’s Folk art Center for this show titled ‘Art of Detailing.’ We made special pieces meant to hang on the wall! That’s right. We have the walls for this show, and our work will be seen along with 4 other fine makers of fiber art, kiln blown glass, and pottery.
Juried members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild show their work at discounted prices in the Folk Art Center Auditorium. These discounted works are seconds, discontinued works, or works we need to move out to make room for 2024 work.
